  •  I can't wait until Ryan shows up (11+ / 0-)

on the Sunday shows and someone asks him a detailed question, because I'm betting not only did he not write the report, he hasn't even READ it. Remember the "math is hard" excuse came out when asked to detail how much his tax cuts would cost (by Chris Wallace no less) when he released his budget last fall?
But really, how different is this from any of his budgets?

But seriously, how many times are we going to be told that there’s a “new” Paul Ryan who really, really, really cares about the poor – and whose budget proposals consistently slash programs designed to help them. All that’s different about Ryan’s approach now is he’s telling the poor that cutting their programs is good for them, because it will free them from “the poverty trap.”

    •  I doubt any Sunday talk show host will ask (3+ / 0-)

any detailed questions about this latest incarnation of his yearly budget proposal, considering (a) there's nothing new in it and (b) none of them know any more about what's in it than Paul Ryan can tap dance around.  Asking how much his tax cuts would cost wasn't a particularly detailed question by Chris Wallace last time Ryan floated a "new" budget, but I can see where it would be considered detailed compared to every other Sunday host's approach.  Ryan is still a granny-starving charlatan from Wisconsin, as Charlie Pierce calls him.
