more of a railroad job, a stage for GOP grandstanding and less of a real hearing? that's my observation. it  would seem that Issa is not interested in the facts, and it's pretty obvious he would not stand for reasonable questions to be asked of her or allow questions to extend to giving an accurate picture of a bigger picture. but of course, it's true.  he can use her fifth as great fuel  for his extended bloviation.
her taking the fifth does not indicate that she is 'afraid' of anything, it is a legal move. taking the fifth always looks bad, that's true, and it is easy to cast a cloud of doubt over the person, but c'mon, that's a cheap shot, insinuating that she is afraid of something.
if there were such a thing as a reasoned, objective inquiry, my guess is the fact would come out.(.as they actually have , outside this pathetic excuse for a hearing.)
inquiry? nah. GOP  and Issa's excess for purposes of propaganda? oh yeah.

is recognized. i'm all for them raising a huge ruckus at the way this circus has set up shop under Issa's heavy hand.
NOTE: the scandal only keeps dripping in Issa's own sinuses. it ain't a scandal.

were able to even speak during this "hearing".  What part of this story do you not understand?

that technically there was already an opening statement the first time she appeared and the jerk Isaa used that to stop Cummings from speaking. But is a completely different issue from questioning a witness. IF she agrees to questioning, both sides (as always is the case) get to ask questions.
