  •  So what do you do about this ongoing House scam? (0+ / 0-)

    Educate voters with facts.

Go post facts on any outlet. Social media can serve that purpose.

    Help get the vote out.

Act against gerrymandering (GOP "redistricting") in your home state. That is where most of the problems with voting start. Act on your own. Look for sites which publish facts. Spread facts around.

Write a petition on one of the countless sites for that. Send it around. Demand change.

Work with your local Dem candidates. If you like their qualifications and/or record (Mega Vote emails send you that) then work with them. Volunteer for campaigns. You will find the time if you care enough.

Contribute to your chosen candidates directly. If you have the cash, hand some over. The GOP is trying to buy elections and will do anything to stop working Americans from voting. That has been the fact for a long time.

If you want to see decent average working Americans vote, work for it. Contact your local Board of Elections. Ask what you can do.

Write your elected officials directly. Call or email through www.USA.gov. Most elected officials never hear from constituents. Make your complaints heard where they might matter.

Those a just a few suggestions from an active, informed voter in Ohio. Husted is trying to stop us from voting here again. He lost that scam in court in 2012. He is at it again. We have a totally corrupt and dysfunctional tea party GOP state club here due to gerrymandering. I work, I have an LLC in Ohio, I volunteer and also engage in making sure that facts get out wherever I am. Many average people do the same things.

I am sure that the energy devoted to bickering on sites like Kos can be better used to get out the vote and turn these notorious taxpayer-supported petty criminals out of office.

Remember "Democracy is not a spectator sport"?  I am sure some Kos users do. Why not join them in their effort to educate voters with facts and help get the vote out?

Voters matter. It is time that we made sure that everyone heard that. If we persist, we will remove the worthless office occupants from the GOP. Let their buddies leave with them. They can be investigated for their criminal activities in office after they suddenly "resign to see more of their families" etc.

Parties do not matter compared to the individual, informed voter. Individual actions make a difference. Elected officials are to follow our wishes. We do not follow them. That is why Obama was elected twice. We chose and we vote for our national interests. Let the worthless follow their petty criminals. That is all they can do. They are slaves to special interests and sheer ignorance.

Informed voters lead. Americans choose. That is our job as citizens. This is a civic duty.
