Democrats (county north of Lincoln, Nebraska) had a recent bi-monthly meeting I attended.

At the meeting, I met many people and was shocked to learn two things.

    1) Farmers all across Nebraska are pissed by the idea of the Keystone XL (the potential to wreck Nebraska is huge).

    2) Many voters in Nebraska, including farmers register as (I) independent. They do so rather than get punished for being Democrats by local business interests.
(The State Dem party has opened up primary ballots to registered Dems and Independents for this reason).

The damn of ignorance is breaking loose. The Keystone XL is uniting opposition and they're finding themselves more in line with blue-thinking Democrats.

Nebraska Farmers Union is going to be the group leading rural Nebraska forward.

Suddenly, it dawns on me, Earnest T. Bass is the intellectual and philosophical inspiration of the TeaParty.
