    Obama's mother was fighting with insurance companies on her deathbed.  True, not over pre-existing conditions, but the point is Obama understands that fighting with insurance companies is hard.  And there's no shortage of people who have lost insurance over pre-existing conditions, it's not some made up meme.  Eliminating the pre-existing conditions clause is so popular that even most Republicans now support it.

    Ryan's story is BS, and even if true, it's pointless.  Cutting SNAP funding and school lunches isn't going to magically inspire parents who can't afford to feed their kids to pack them a sack lunch.  For some kids, their free lunch is the only decent meal they get.  Proposing to eliminate that is monstrous.
