  •  Anybody 3D print here? (5+ / 0-)

How do you keep long skinny thingies from curling up at the ends and ruining your prints?

I've been playing with what I've been calling "kludge disks" or "Mickey Mouse ears", since I don't know the real technical term yet, at the ends. Once they worked and once they didn't.

    •  Problem may be with material (5+ / 0-)

I do not 3D print but did work (before I retired) for a company that made materials for 3D printing -- the UV curable type which is not usually for home use, but I know the material makes a tremendous difference.  Also older material -- if it has sat around too long -- can be a problem.
