I've read Bartcop off and on for close to 15 years. I don't recall exactly when I first stumbled on his page but it was always good for a laugh.  I grew up in Tulsa, though I got out and left Oklahoma for good in 1986, but it was always good to read Bartcop and know that not everyone in Oklahoma was a raving conservative lunatic.

On a tangent - when I was 16 years old - 1974 if you must know -  the very first job (besides a paper route) I ever had,  I actually worked  at the Sirloin Stockade that became the Spudder restaurant you mentioned.  My parents lived just SE of 51st and Sheridan until 1994 and I've driven by it on numerous occasions and even made note of the change to "Spudder" but never gave it much thought.  I'm going back to Tulsa to visit my dad in a couple of months so maybe I'll take him there for dinner - he's always been big on Steak.
