    decent wages don't eliminate jobs. Republicans eliminate jobs; and workers, and prospects, and then excuse it all and call for more austerity. there is no end to their ignorant, arrogant avarice. only political dinosaurs support their treachery.

      phenomenal tunes. the list of great monk tunes is pretty darn long. I failed to mention above how many of them have made their way into the standard jazz repertoire

      I cant tell if its a West End musical or Marxism in action.

        Well You Needn't.

        Carmen McRae did an album of Monk songs with added lyrics - some by Jon Hendricks, some by others.  

        Monk is pretty accessible anyway, I think - but the McRae album became a favorite of my daughter when they were kids.
