    I loved the opening when Tyson went right into the scientific method, which I thought was a slap in the face to all the wing nuts who ignore reason, evidence and facts.

    I also loved the ending with his tribute to Sagan.

    Way too many special effects and not enough Tyson during the middle.  Tyson is good, and if they gave him enough time to explain how science works and how data is collected, he can pull this out.

    I rewatched the original and Tyson has got some mighty big shoes to fill, but I think he's the perfect guy to do it.
