    The whole issue with minimum wage -- all of it -- is that employers have accumulated so much power that there is no honest bargain in low-end employment agreements and little correlation between low-end wages and the value of work provided.

    I'm not sure what to call these events as they are not strikes in the way that I am used to thinking of them, but worker uprisings are a way to seize some of that power back and create an environment where employers will have to cede some of that value in order to conduct business.

        personalized injustices instead of "conceptualized" (sorry -- internal thesaurus not working today) issues.  It's important to realize that it's not just a debate. Bad things are happening to real people -- and, HEY! ALL YOU GET A JOB TYPES: They're happening to people who HAVE A JOB!
