century of two families #occupying the White House was enough.

I didn't think our American Presidency should be 'the family business' for just two families, the Clintons and Bushes.

    That hasn't changed.

I've seen the polling. Problem is, polling on hypothetical match-ups is merely hypothetical polling results.

If Hillary is the nominee? She'll have my vote.

But the question is, will she run? At this point in time, her legacy is written in victory ink, garnering both US Senate and Secretary of State titles and leaving a record of success in both offices.

She's already made history as the most successful politician, in her own right, as a former FLOTUS.

If she runs in 2016, and loses, it negates all of her previous success, and marks her only as a failed presidential candidate who held other gov't office before running for POTUS.

So, for Hillary Clinton, this choice is not just 'can I win' but 'is winning the office worth all of my past efforts'.

    •  Maybe she can put some juice (0+ / 0-)

in thse Senate elections. Could she help with the outcome?

a long habit of not thinking a thing WRONG, gives it a superficial appearance of being RIGHT, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defense of custom.

WHY WOULD THEY WANT THIS JOB?  The Clintons are two senior citizens, who command six figures for every speech.  They could retire to sublime bliss.  If they were president, the right would hound them and lift up every rug and dust ruffle to look for the next scandal - and you know there are more scandals.  Leopards don't change their spots.  Remember the story of the scorpion and the dog?  It's in their nature.  The hounding would go on for YEARS.  Why endure that, for a piece of history and a little power rush?  I can't believe she/they could be that stupid.

Oh, and her time in the Senate (voted for Iraq War) and SoS were anything but distinguished.  They were ordinary, at best.  Disappointing, at worst.

And, we'll all be left to hold our noses and defend them until the next reactionary election of a GW Bush.

Just Retire.  Just walk away.  Take what you've stolen and leave us in peace.  Please.

with your views.  The vast majority of Democrats and Progressives does not believe as you do.   Therefore, most would not "hold our noses."

She likely runs.  She will have tons of support, and history will be made.   About time that glass ceiling is shattered.

    •  I bet she'll run (0+ / 0-)

This is amazing history in the making, I doubt she can resist.  Also, she can read polls, all showing her making mincemeat out of any potential GOP candidate even BEFORE she can pound into the American psyche that she aligns herself with vast majorities of the American people on virtually any issue imaginable (minimum wage, gay marriage, equal pay, access to abortions, keeping Obamacare and making it better vs. going back to the old ways, etc.)

It is highly doubtful she will let this incredible opportunity pass her by, something she might regret not going for for the rest of her life if she declines to run.
