BOMB = Books on my bed, which would include the one that I'm reading (Gao Xingjian's The Case for Literature, and a few others I put on the bed to differentiate them from my other stacks of books, usually for a long-forgotten reason.  One of those would be Don carpenter's Class of '49.

BAMB = Books at my bedside = BOMBFNMB = Books on my bedroom floor near my bed = my TBR stack (or most of it).  Of those many, I have two in mind to read very soon:  Annie Dillard's Pilgrim at Tinker Creek and William Least Heat-Moon's Blue Highways.

BAMBNSNMB = Books around my bedroom not so near my bed, which used to be Books on my Bookshelf (BOMB) until my wife cleaned out her office and banished my bookshelf to the garage.  These are books that I have read and vaguely plan to keep around, although I should probably give them away since I don't do much rereading.
