Is it really? I found the article I linked, which is from the BBC (which I normally find to be more reliable than anything here) , due to reading an article in a "fluff science" type publication about the find that didn't seem to think it was a disputed find at all. There also are colleagues of mine that are archeologists that didn't think the find itself was disputed.  I'm sure dating will be disputed from all sides, but the find is disputed?  I had no idea.  They have a floor plan for what the city looked like even.  Disputed?  Really?  I suppose - eh - it defies accepted theory so I suppose I really shouldn't be surprised.  I'm used to old fossils who don't give up older theories until they are pried out of their tenured chairs.  Not that I'm protesting tenure, I'm tenured, and I surely didn't bring in my books on the political economy until I had the chancellor's letter and it was irrefutable, but I hope I'm not immovable and if I ever reach that point in this life, I hope that my partner will pry me out and take me home.

Thanks for letting me know I suppose.
