I watched that on CBS's 30-minute comedies -- Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres ...

Anybody here ever have a Timex computer?
    Or an Amiga?

I've still got an honest-to-Ceiling-Cat cardboard case portable phonograph. And a real steel portable manual typewriter.

      From cira 1982

Had one, loved it. hated it, with it's cassette tape storage. Hacked the OS. Wrote my first machine language programs on it. Invaluable for the education. For doing anything useful? There was this movie once, that had a kid hacking into Skynet or something once...

Still have the manual and the assembly language tutorials. Interesting how Intel deviated from a few commands (like load and -- or ++) that i found useful, perhaps they really weren't.
