    from the middle of 3rd grade to graduation. She was crying every night before bed and having nightmares because she knew she had to get up and go to school in the morning. Multiple meetings with teacher and administrators only resulted in them telling me that they would make the decisions about my daughter's education (I just wanted her transferred to a different 3rd grade class with a teacher who would let her put her head down on her desk/arms and "reboot" when she got overstimmed.)

    My only caution to those who are homeschooling Aspies is that free of the daily social tensions and still possessing a joy of learning can result in graduating 3 years early and going to college (community) at 15. They may still have delayed emotional development, but keeping up with their intellect is like riding a jet rocket!
