  •  I don't have a problem with restaurants closing (4+ / 0-)

    one day a week, any day of their choice.  He is indeed a religious bigot, in that he wants to deny secular, governmental rights to those who don't share his sectarian views.  But closing on Sundays is NOT an example of that.

    In fact, I'm pretty sure that when the ancient texts that became the bible adjured us to "honor the Sabbath and keep it holy", that it was in fact a useful and meaningful labor rights platform.

      You can give people the time off they need without closing on Sunday.  If I were a franchisee, I would not care much for this restriction.  How un-Republican, too.

      I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
