  •  Thanks so much for the debunking, JMcC! Xoxo (9+ / 0-)

We're going to be debunking crap like this all through November and probably until 2016! Blech

and everyone has had insurance and better health.

Until then, we can expect the usual crapola from the right.

    •  debunking on dkos doesnt get it in front (8+ / 0-)

Of the same eyes and ears who believe this ad confirms their beliefs.

Dems have got to start spending some money NOW, and start responding to this crap on a major level.

There should be a major campaign over the next few weeks, especially when ACA meets it's enrollment goal, to stand up for ACA and let people become acquainted with the facts.

We are up against fact challenged/ fact adverse folks. What we need to do is to narwhal the hell out of 2014. Turn out, turn out, turn out.

The folks we need to get to the polls don't read Dkos. Heck, they may only vaguely hear the ad.

Low information voters are too busy (yes, busy women!) to research the falsehoods of AFP et. al.
They are working jobs if they have them, stretching budgets, feeding kids, going to school. Besides, not much good news is coming out of Washington for them, so voting, even less who to vote for is not on their top 100

We need to bring presidential fervor to the 2014 elections. I'm not contributing money for ads. I giving money to help turn out. It is the only way to win Nov. 4, 2014.

Time and again, the Dems have repeatedly sit on their collective hands instead of pushing back against well-funded smear campaigns, no matter how repugnant.  Perhaps since liberals tend to be more tolerant of other viewpoints, they are hesitant to stoop to the bullying tactics of the right. It's time to stop thinking this way. A bully will continue to bully until s/he is stopped by someone strong enough to push back. PLEASE PUSH BACK THIS TIME!
