      the high rate of Hysterectomies and oophorectomies performed on women. Many of which are unnecessary.

      The ovaries produce hormones for 30 years after menopause and do provide a protective feature that can prevent or mitigate dementia.

      Just the removal of one ovary can have a remarked, cognitive decline in a female.

      2/3rds of all these operations are unnecessary, with the health problems that they treat, because less invasive surgeries could be performed to mitigate symptoms without removing their ovaries.
