    You stated that Rome was founded by Etruscans. It's my understanding that these were people with an entirely different language and culture, so distinct from the surrounding cultures in Italy that it's agreed that they had transplanted themselves from somewhere else (though it's not agreed from where).  

    In other words, pretty much everything about Etruscan culture was different from Roman culture. I just can't see how Rome could have been founded by Etruscans. This is fairly parenthetical to your work here (again, good stuff!) but you might want to double check the origin story.
