    But its not just the 1 percent in the richest countries on Earth.  It's a good chunk of middle class and even lower income America and Europe that feels insulated from climate change consequences.  Less than one out of ten employed persons in the First World work in agriculture, let alone have a stake in it.  And while the US certainly has issues with food security, climate change has not emerged as a significant determinant in that respect.  Compared to the threat facing the developing world, low income vulnerability to climate change in OECD nations is almost a non-issue.
