    talking points about serious and complex issues.

    Unfortunately we have the America we have and not yet the America we wish we had.

    But the talking points are only half the issue. Beyond suckering people into voting for politicians with certain 1% agendas, there's the issue of why these politicians have these agendas in the first place, and that being they're taking payoffs in the form of campaign contributions that assure the protection of their jobs.

    There's the 'our politicians are corrupt' other side of the issue that clogs the rightful gears of reform.

    In other words, you have to have the politicians that actually want progressive ideas to win.
