Pat Leahy is now officially culpable. He could stop it with a stroke of his pen as the head of the Judiciary Committee - every day that he refuses to do so, he shares the blame for allowing the situation to continue.

As for the Republicans....well. I wouldn't cross the street to widdle on them if they were on fire.

... that he's culpable. Reform wouldn't have passed last year without not only his support but his advocacy down the stretch.  Again, this is all a set up for ditching blue slips to get nominees through.

While I see your point , and can understand why you feel that is true , Obama and the dems have also been complaining the same way the last 3 years , claiming they mean it this time seems a bit weak at this point , nothing has changed , if they were going to actually pull the trigger , they would have done it 2 years ago , imo

People are frustrated at this point and should be raising even more hell for 2014 , it should get real loud in here , and I know most of us in here then take that voice to congress

But I hope you are right

as the head of the Judiciary Committee...

Or start some indictments of republicans.

As has been said here many times, it's time now to take the gloves off, and do things while things can be done.
