  •  The Religous Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (8+ / 0-)

    was passed by Congress and signed by President Clinton in response to various decisions by the SCOTUS. The RFRA passed the House unanimously and had only three dissenting votes in the Senate. Hobby Lobby is being brought under the RFRA. In my opinion the new statute gives Scalia an escape hatch, if he wants one.

    That being said, the case law against Hobby Lobby is extensive.
