    required for the real economy to work at full capacity.

    New dollars chasing new goods does not cause inflation.

    And BTW, dollars only make up 3% of our money supply.

    Dollars are your asset.

    The rest of our money supply is  made up of private bank credit.  Which is your debt.

    And all that privately owed debt can also cause inflation.  Like housing inflation, education inflation, and the like.
