    for not taking action on publicly popular policies that he disagrees with.

    Anytime I hear the Obama Administration claim they can't do something because Congress, I know its because he doesn't want to do it at all.   Like the Public Option and the Minimum Wage Increase, FinReg and the Stimulus Bill, renewing long term unemployment, and a million other things.  The list is long.

    It's DC kabuki, plain and simple.

    When Obama blames Congress for inaction on public policy, its the DC version of dog whistle politics - sending a message that says to Congress "don't pass this, the corporate lobbyists don't like it".

    If you have any doubts, check on any alleged DOA policy in Congress that the public needs and see if Dems have actually introduced a bill and how hard they've actually worked to get it to the floor for a vote.

    I haven't believed Obama's excuses about Congress since the pathetic compromise on the Stim Bill.  You shouldn't either.
