    They are trying to stop the nutjobs this time, but time will show whether they will succeed. Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia,  and Alaska amongst others have a steady supply of them.

    If the GOP primary electorate backs such people, it's not easy to stop them.

      from nominating nutjobs demonstrate that the RINOs in the national party and the Chambers of Commerce are the real enemy, even more than their complicity in reopening the government. We have not seen full-on Tea Party rage yet. We keep thinking that we have gotten to the limit of crazy, and they keep blowing right past it.

      And so the Party shrinks, as so the Faithful Remnant doubles down on the purity of the crazy, and gets louder and more vicious to compensate for the lost numbers.
