  •  So no one forgets, this woman had no (4+ / 0-)

emotion nor sympathy for the dangerous situation that culminated in her dispationate email to create traffic. I don't care if the governor ordered it, I'm not very sympathetic about the plight of this Kelly lady. Along with anyone who was part of it should be wearing prison clothes. Yeah she got slut shamed and it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with anything. She's no angel so if Christie wants to play that card, a pox on everyone, especially her.

    •  Then she should be shamed as an individual (21+ / 0-)

who was unprofessional and incompetent with her position and her duty to the citizens of the state, along with several others of both genders. Then provide a properly investigated motive for a group of people to commit this irresponsible act.

Don't just imply it was the action of some sort of sad overly emotional desperate bitter woman who took it out on innocent commuters because that's what women do when they get dumped by men. It a cheap tactic that does nothing to get to the root of the problem - a group of people who treat power as a personal entitlement, not as a sacred trust by the citizens of the state.

      •  I think Kelly is rotten as well but (3+ / 0-)

we can't let Republicans scream "VAGINA!!" the way they do "BENGHAZI!!"  The two are not the same.  Deflecting to a women's privates should not be allowed and we need to pull republicans away from that and make them answer to the real problems.

        1. What does it mean? 2. And then what?

that's my point, there is nothing under the sun or Yosemite Sam's 10 gallon hat we can do to tell or let Republicans do anything. I think they've proven since at least I have been alive (the 1930s) they will always do and say the total opposite of what we think is right. So the issue is not what Christie and his lawyers throw out there, that is no surprise whatsoever that they used the scream "VAGINA" ploy. You think because we write a few posts and MSNBC calls them out on it will change how they conduct themselves? I think what we should be dwelling on is the Federal investigation. That lawyerly ploy was to let potential jurors know what they're defense would be if he has legal issues later, like indictment. I doubt very highly Holder and his team will let that defense skate.

let them get away with it without speaking out on it as much as possible.  Short speak doesn't make as much sense, I understand.  Women do not like being treated this way and the more it gets put into the spot light and talked about, especially amongst women, the more women will reject republicans.  I know a woman who always voted republican until McCain picked Sara Palin...that woke her up and she voted dem that year.

But I do agree with you that the Federal investigation should be followed.  I am just so sick of republicans treating women this was, even if she was stupid enough to work for Christie.
