  •  What credibility (13+ / 0-)

does the Albuquerque police department have currently?

After the number of people shot and killed by this department and their subsequent statements that were false or at best misleading, what credibility do they have after this most recent shooting?

Furthermore, after I viewed the video I am suspicious of the police version. It was difficult to make out and as far as shots being fired, again, I am not inclined at this point to give the APD carte blanche with their version. We shall see.

Either way, this department is out of control and needs some serious intervention.

BTW that other officer involved shooting is freaking crazy. The dude had a knife and they open fire like they are in some sort of shooting gallery trying to rack up points. Then after they have shot him, with blood streaming and obviously incapacitated, drag him like a shot deer, and then handcuff without one utterance for emergency aid. The indifference to human life is appaling by this department.
