  •  thank you. I am utterly amazed, sometimes (18+ / 0-)

dazzled, by the political news these days.  What we are supposed to just swallow gets more and more ridiculous every day!

Please know I am not rude. I cannot rec anything from this browser. When I rec or post diaries I am a guest at some exotic locale's computer. Ayn is the bane!

    •  Speaking of news... (0+ / 0-)

...anybody notice how, while we've been distracted by Putin, Flight 370, and a bigass mudslide, Chtistie's managed to pick himself up off the mat, his cut man patched him up, and he's regained his balance?

      He needs another!

I'm really pissed off this time

    •  Christie may be as addicted to food... (0+ / 0-)

as Rush Limbaugh is to oxycontin.

To me, that's also an indicator that he could be addicted to other things, like power, for instance.  As you mentioned earlier, it's a very good indication that his self-image is not very healthy.

It was written in a comment about Fred Phelps that he may have been abused when he was a kid, which may be why he was so abusive to everyone else around him.  Violence begets violence, which begets more violence.

Makes me wonder what skeletons are in Christie's closet.

There is a saying that I would like to see on his desk, or his wall: "Not keeping secrets is the same as telling the truth."

I suggested that sign be put on McConnell's desk, and Issa's desk, and on the desk of anyone who is addicted to this kind of power.  I wonder if Mr. Christie has ever heard that saying.  If he hasn't, I hope someone mentions it to him.  I'd love to see his response.
