tell you, I lived literally down the street, La Mexicana was the tits. I used to go there on a Friday afternoon after work and they would be making homemade tortillas in the dining room.

They really do need Chef Ramsay.

Maybe it's what I ordered, but I didn't think it was terrible, but I definitely wasn't blown away by it. Steven, Brian, and I met up there, too. I like their mole sauce. But yeah, it's definitely nothing special anymore. Wish I could have had the old La Mex!

I don't mind if you're straight. Just don't flaunt it in public.

In those days, I was much thinner, and watched my weight a bit. I would have a ceviche and green salsa and chips and some guacamole and a margarita, and then diet for the rest of the week.

The mole was always great there. It's home made.

Their chips were THE BEST, and the salsa was superb. The mole was top quality for sure, everything. They also made a wicked strong margarita that was not a mix, and back then (the 90's really)I think they were $3.25. I used to be a pretty hard drinker and could put away the booze and two of those would have me lit.

Oh well. Most good things come to an end, eventually.
