but old B/W "The Saint" program airs on the MeTV channel in the 'Sunday Night Noir' block; at 0300CDT (Monday, actually), after Route 66, every weekend. Well, it's been b/w for a while now, maybe they will run the color ones too.
Cool Corvette's and funky little Volvo's...

      •  I'd love to see 'Route 66' again (0+ / 0-)

I remember it being a very cool show - of course I was 14 at the time...

You can't stop progress (or is that "profit"?)

(I was about that age too)
MeTV is an 'over-the-air network on broadcast digital tv, I don't know if it's carried on cable or satellite feeds.

Route 66 is running in originally aired chronological order on MeTV. Episode 15, ("The Clover Throne", orig air date: 27 Jan 1961, filmed around Indio, CA), is on tomorrow.

It's a great program to watch just for the background view of America in the early 1960's, a lot of the plots are excellent too.
I was amazed to see them driving across the Harbor Bridge (US Route 181) in Corpus Christi just a few months after it was built (episode #81, "Somehow It Gets to Be Tomorrow").
