    Not saying they won't do all the damage they can on their way down, but sooner or later, all the gerrymandering and voter suppression in the world won't do them any good.

    One of the ways voter suppression can backfire is what I call the Yamamoto effect: they awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a  terrible resolve.  We saw this in 2012 when black people vowed not to have their votes taken away, and jumped through the GOP hoops to make sure their papers were in order, and sometimes waited in line for hours to cast their vote. The Dems have plenty of time to insure Yamamoto happens again in 2014.

    Its also going to be interesting to see how poorer folks in deep red districts vote once they start seeing benefits from the AFCA. It could put a monkey wrench in gerrymandering.

      I don't like "sooner or later." We just can't afford another 2010-like off-Presidental year debacle.

      2014 is HERE. Build up the Senate. Win back the House : 17 seats. Plus!
