  •  kos, like the rest of us "haters" (4+ / 0-)

didn't and doesn't "hate" the ACA, so much as we wish it had been designed, sold, implemented and rolled out better, and believe it could have been. That said, we like it over what preceded it, and think that it's a huge if very flawed improvement. See, we're into that simplistic for/against nonsense.

    •  Yes, well, with the aid of at least 2 or 3 Repub's (0+ / 0-)

it would have been a whole lot better. I assume you've been watching the disgraceful, ineffective, costly and vicious refusal of Red State governors of Medicaid?

on the other hand, the many Republican governors' wholesale rejection of Medicaid Expansion gives the Democrats a GREAT campaign premise, if only they are smart enough to take advantage of it, repeatedly and loudly between now and November.

Democrats enacted the ACA, which has provided over 10 million Americans with health insurance they have long needed.

Republicans Governors have prevented over 5 Million more Americans from obtaining health insurance that would prevent health crises and prolong their lives by refusing a Medicaid Expansion paid for by the Federal Government!

In November, who will YOU vote for?
        Yes, it's THAT simple.

America's LAST HOPE: vote the GOP OUT in 2014 elections. MAKE them LOSE the House Majority and reduce their numbers in the Senate. Democrats move America forward - Republicans take us backward and are KILLING OUR NATION!

      •  Gotta wonder how strong/smart an effort (0+ / 0-)

Obama made to get them to come on board. Given that he wasn't even able to get Ben Nelson to play ball, I doubt he really tried with the other side. Let's just say that I'm less than impressed with his political skills.
