  •  But they did (6+ / 0-)

...threaten them saying if Pres Obama won, they would la off workers. A mining executive in Ohio forced workers to attend a Romney campaign event on company time without pay. Where were you during that period? It was news right here Google it.

    •  And 2012 was not the first time (0+ / 0-)

they made this threat about layoffs. They started in 2008.   I worked for these jerks for several years.  They were typical corporate cutthroats, but they didn't totally lose it until they got infected with ODS (Obama Delusion Syndrome) starting in 2008.  When that happened, they made "1984" look like a rational democracy.  Can't tell you how many times I voiced amusement with and admiration for their satirical talents, only to discover, to my horror, that they were serious.  ODS destroys the brain.  It is the major medical scourge of the 21st century.  The Koch Bros. have the best education money can buy, but they really believe their own BS.  That is sad and pitiful.

The miners worked in  Virginia not Ohio. Robert Anderson threatened to fire them if they didn't show up to be a backdrop for Romney and then refused to pay them for the time they missed from work doing this. Anderson also made workers contribute to the Republican Party by means that would gotten a small mine owner sent to prison.
