  •  Perfect. I love how our government works. It's (6+ / 0-)

like a well tuned symphony with each stanza followed by another perfectly commensurate with the last.  Bravo President O, Bravo.

      •  I await breathlessly. (4+ / 0-)

Maybe they'll just tell us we can't vote anymore, that it's no use, they have it all handled for us.

        •  Actually, that would not surprise me (5+ / 0-)

You have probably noticed, as I have, that neither Prez O nor Cretinous Congress Critters have made a single move to repeal all the unconstitutional and illegal laws that took away our rights..., yes?  A couple of them have come up for renewal because they were about to expire (why put an expiration date on a law if you don't know in advance it's not constitutional or legal?).  Otherwise, they are all ominously silent on the topic of AUMFs, Patriot Act, MCA '06, FISA '08, and MCA '09, among other things.

M'thinks they want us to get used to not having our rights so that if/when it's convenient for corporate hucksters, banksters, and Casino Wall Street they can all meet "in secret" to change the constitution without our consent and make our current lack of rights "legal."

Really, after the SCOTUS decision of 12 December 2000 if voting is taken out of our hands, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor

          wouldn't it?

When the Republicans are in power they get what they want and when the Democrats are in power they still get what they want. At what point do people finally see it is just theater? ~ Me
