  •  well, actually...... (4+ / 0-)

......while the SN@TO opera series does exclusively focus on opera, SNLC (Saturday Night Loser's Club) is a more free-form water cooler kind of series, where I can write about whatever I want.  I'm not necessarily the most politically with it guy around, so my series is arguably the least politically engaged on DK (discounting cat picture diaries and such).  But the SN@TO series that Demi Moaned started is indeed focused on opera, with the Met HD-casts as the centerpieces.  I co-opted SN@TO after his series went on a bit of a hiatus, which he didn't seem to mind, to create the occasional mashup like today.

Thanks for the compliment about going back; will be interested to know what you think of the oldies.

For spelling it out. I'll be reading-- forward and back-- and will try to comment regularly to show my support for the series. Now I'm strictly an opera lover and pretty clueless when it comes to any critique. Expect no erudite commentary here. I just know what I love. Puccini brought me in during high school and these days, anything Wagner I find a delight. I'll save my life-changing cross country trip listening to The Ring Cycle story for an appropriate diary.

(I'm not able to recc diaries on my device for unknown reasons or I would have.)
