  •  An ironic hypocrisy, isn't it? (0+ / 0-)

I'm not missing the point at all. I understand exactly what you are saying, but think you are hypocritical in your hypocrite chasing.

Frankly, it sounds like you care a lot.
And isn't it hypocritical to say you don't care but to care so much?

Truth is, the only people who matter are his constituency.  If it matters to them, he will be smacked upside the head come election time.

If he didn't campaign and get elected on his "family values" I wouldn't say a word about his affair. He made his fake values a public issue, so he is fair game.

        •  There is a reason for calling out people like this (0+ / 0-)

He is precisely the type of person who gets elected on the principles of family values and religion, then uses his power to hurt others. For instance, I guarantee that he is opposed to same sex marriage because he believes that marriage should be between one man and one woman.

          •  I suspect he says so, too. (0+ / 0-)

one man/one woman is not exactly a radical view.

It was the law of the land for a very long time, and remains the law in 33 states.

Doesn't make it right, but does make it mainstream.
