    I found a cladoceran that's almost pan size  
    Leptodora kindtii is an unusually large cladoceran, at up to 18 mm long.

      There's so much I have never seen or imagined. A lot of overlap in appearance with these guys.

      One thing I have to be careful about is assuming I'll be seeing the common stuff. Statistically, that's what's likely to happen. But anything could be out there, like this elegant Leptodora.
