    Seems to me that the unprecedented warm upwelling moving across the Pacific may be a signal that the oceans' capacity to absorb the CO2/heating without visible signs is reaching its end.

    Watch out for what a major El Nino could do to the temps globally.

    We're always told that climate change moves in fits and starts, not a smooth curve. Herky jerky. We may be looking at some big jerks. In any case, we are in foreign territory now.
