    After all having 7 Principles and 6 Sources - which adds up to 13 - seems like a most unfortunate number to base your religion upon, especially for a group that throughout history has  "moved to the rhythms of mystery and wonder"

    Plus, that's just a whole lot of stuff to remember.

    I'd try to cut back to maybe 4 Principles and 3 Sources at the most.

      About being a Unitarian Universalist or about welcoming critical input.

      I suppose you can consider belittling/mocking to be a criticism. I don't think I do.

      But I'll take that bit about too many things to remember into consideration. I can see how that might present challenges for some people, although that has never been my experience as a UU.

      At least, not until you get into our committee system. Of those... we do have too many to remember!
