Word on the street here was that Jindal and the LA Republican Party had their own handpicked candidate to succeed Congressman Rodney Alexander when he abruptly resigned last year and was appointed to head Louisiana's Veteran's Affairs office--a move that will exponentially increase his state retirement.  The voters here knew it, and surprised me by electing this guy. Duck Dynasty helped in that regard, but Jindal is no longer popular in LA, so I suspect McAllister's election was also a chance for voters to poke Jindal in the eye by not electing his guy (Neil Riser).  I can't help but believe somebody in Jindal's camp or the state party was behind the video being leaked.  Vitter, on the other hand, was never asked to leave by Louisiana Republicans.  The whole lot of them, McAllister included, are hypocritical scumbags.  You have NO idea how embarrassing it is to live in this District.
