after all it is a Shining Beacon of Freedom throughout the world.

    *** your own civilians
I hear that a lot in the US and right here in DKos. Is it inherently less immoral to kill or maim humans as long as they are not citizens of your own country? What about different ethnic or racial minorities within the country itself? How do you differentiate between "our" and "their" civilians in a civil war?

simply because so many here have been apologists for the Assad regime's actions here.  It certainly is clear to me that few on these pages are the least bit troubled by such things provided it is someone other than the US doing it.

    •  The OPCW Chemical Weapons Convention is (0+ / 0-)

available on the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons website.

You betray yourself when you feign concern about an issue but don't know the basics about it.  And you waste time with obtuse questions.

There is no existence without doubt.

      •  How about the Convention Against Torture? (0+ / 0-)

And speaking of the Chemical Weapons Convention, why did the US provide Saddam Hussein with precursor chemicals for chemical weapons in the form of a tax-payer guaranteed loan?
