    She needs to hang in there until after BO's presidency and maybe until after HRC's presidency so we can get a decent justice in there.

    Who knows what BO would bargain away if she resigns during his term.

      the diarist has a point and I'm quite confident President Obama would appoint someone like Kagen and Sotomeyer as would President Hillary Clinton.  I got the dig at the President but find it uncalled for.

        appointees have sometimes been giveaways to the repubs.

        Or maybe you just choose to ignore that.

        They guy nominates conservatives all over the place for all kinds of positions.  We've been lucky so far that his SC nominees haven't sucked as much as some of his other appointees.

        And since he already got Sotomayer and Kagan, hey, BO already tossed the liberals some bones, so now it's time to change course.
