    The current court is the results of Democrats losing elections and then refusing to be openly political in the appointment of judges.
    being openly political-- how does that get democratic-nominated judges thru Senate approval process? last I checked, there's more than a few repugs in the Senate.

      If Democrats wanted to ram judges through, they can do so. Just change the rules and do it. What we have here is a  issue of will, not ability.

        so the approval process has NO repug involvement?

        BTW, you may have noticed the deadbeats in congress can't even muster the will to pass a lousy five month extension of unemployment benefits for our long term unemployed-- now numbering over two million people.
