      in urban areas who can afford computers and internet services (pretty much impossible for folks who earn so little they qualify for safety net programs).  

      For rural folks who have poor internet access (the broadband that was promised in the 90s hasn't materialized that) they're pretty much stuck with dial up.

      It was necessary for the federal government to mandate the installation of phone and electric lines to rural areas in the past because those weren't profitable to Ma Bell or the electric companies.  The same should have been done for broadband and cable access, but we all know that the 1% own government so don't hold your breath for those needed services to be required any time soon.

      Punching down and blaming people because they don't have the time, the access, or equipment should be as beneath anyone as blaming the poor for being poor.  We're better than that around here.

      There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.
