As distasteful as it might be, I have to defend his right to express his disgusting, ignorant, racist opinion.

The First Amendment is sacred to me. I don't have to listen. I can demonstrate against him or protest that I believe his position is harmful when brought into politics, local or not. But I won't deny him the right to express himself.

It's never "ok" to agree with racism and hate. But as long as people do not act on their prejudices and harm others, I have to give them the room to be assholes.

    Sticks and stones.

      Between "Illegal" and "Not Okay."

He can express himself all he wants.  We can be disgusted at the voters who endorse that.

While I totally agree with your position on our First Amendment rights, what this a**hole Miller did goes way beyond "expressing an opinion."  He acted on his prejudices, bigotry, and hatred and killed three innocent people for no reason.

And just as an aside, did you know that in his zeal to murder any Jewish person -- be it man, woman, or child -- he actually killed two Methodists (the grandfather and his grandson) and a Catholic (the woman)?

I wasn't talking about Miller. I was talking about the asshole sheriff who AGREED with him.
