Randolph and Mortimer at our own peril.

They've been spending tens of millions year after year on their electoral war machine since Randolph lost the 1980 election on the Libertarian ticket.

They're playing a long game.  A very long game.  Dancing because we've won a few battles against them doesn't make a whole lot of sense, because over the long term, they're still winning the war - as illustrated by this nations progressively more disastrous economic policies.  They own not only most Republicans, but many 3rd Way Democrats as well.

So they may be "pissing away their money" today - but that doesn't mean they'll be doing so tomorrow.  We need to look at - and play -  the long game just as they do - and not declare any sort of victory, even a short term tactical one.  If we want to defeat Randolph and Mortimer, we need to keep painting them to be public enemy #1 until the day they die - and likely long after, as their money will likely live on in trusts set up specifically for political purposes.

Maybe just too much wine with dinner and slightly blurry vision.
