  •  Possible hints about one payment pattern driver? (0+ / 0-)

The biggest insurer here in IL has been giving a ton of leeway in payment due dates, and they are now pulling it back a bit.

I have BCBS-IL coverage (old policy canceled, signed up in Nov for an ACA one). For the first several months my bills included a note that the due date was extended to the end of the month for that month's coverage, stating "We hope this extra time will make it easier to work the payment in with your other household bills."

Clearly they were bringing on lots of new people in a short time span (they're getting the lion's share of the new business in IL), many who may not be familiar with the payment options or were hung up in processing.

Well, my new bill for 5/01 says the "extended due date" is [down to] May 10. Looks like the mongoose may be just about through/digested by the snake?

P.S. Yahoo hasn't said anything about what they've done or whether to change passwords. Should I wait, or do it now?  Thanks.

Do not grasp. Let go of what is to make space for what is to be.
