  •  I was thinking the same thing when I saw this (5+ / 0-)

    last night on the news.

    The FDA makes it sound like the livestock is going to get toxins from the spent grain.

    But if that were a real problem, it would have been common knowledge after how many eons of practical application?

    I would be willing to bet that the yeasts used to process the grains for brewing and heating probably suppress harmful microbes very efficiently.

    Maybe some microbrewer can chime in with their understanding.

    You know this means that the Locavore and slow food movement are making a dent in some profits.
