constituents so he can join guys like Franken and Markey to speak out against the FCC's rule on net neutrality and fight back.  Plus there's no praise in my diary.  None.  Not one shred.

    •  Do they have a detailed position statement? (0+ / 0-)

Have they described exactly what action should be taken, what rights should be protected?  Have they said what they plan to do to support their position? What compromises they plan to make?

I'm not trying to sound harsh, but my training in issue advocacy makes me follow a set of rules and guidelines.  It's how things get done on the Hill.

    •  We don't have to prevent Dems from looking good (0+ / 0-)

What we have to do is make them look even better by making them adhere to a quality legislative agenda that they actually enact.

They'll look a lot better to those undecided voters if we make them celebrate a real victory instead of apologizing for half-measures or loss of net neutrality.

It's tough love.  Lobbyists and corporate donors hold them to very strict legislative guidelines, we little people have to do the same. They're used to it.

So what is your problem? Are you against democratic senators doing their job or something? Really don't understand you.

        I love president Obama!!!

        •  How is he helping it? (0+ / 0-)

I'm used to advocating on cancer issues.  There are many legislators who think they're "helping" by wearing a pink ribbon pin.
